WORK EXPERIENCE

Dr. Khosrowpanah has more than 10 years professional engineering experience and management in all phases of civil engineering design discipline. His experience includes engineering, design, and construction ranging from municipal and federal to private projects. Dr. Khosrowpanah has served as project engineer on the design, construction and management of several irrigation projects in Asia. He has also been the principal engineer on a project for improving operation of water system for islands of Pohnpei, and the water system in Guam.

ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE AND INTERESTS
Dr. Khosrowpanah, Director, Water and Energy Research Institute is a Professor of Civil Engineering and a member of the Environmental Science Graduate Program. His teaching experiences includes: engineering statics & dynamics, engineering graphics, open channel flow, hydraulics, engineering economy, and erosion and sedimentation. He also teaches water distribution systems, pumps, and water resources planning sections of the Pacific Islands water resources training.
His area of research includes, erosion and sedimentation, water distribution system modeling and operation, and water resource planning.
